I originally thought about the switch until I saw the ST score requirement. I have a degree in network security and was pushed through several certifications with the thought of going warrant. What has been your thoughts on the new MOS?

I think it is going to be a challenge to recruit and retain soldiers with the skills required. As you said, the qualifications are high - maybe too high. If you've got the skills and education already, I think going warrant is a much better option. You can stay technical, and take more responsibility at the same time.

Sir,

The problem with the line score requirement is that many like myself took the ASVAB when I was a junior in high school. Now 12 years later, I would say that I could score higher due to completing college level classes. If the Army is going to select those who qualify, it might be beneficial to look at the total Soldier concept a bit more. Thank you for the response.

What a super opportunity for an exciting area in the Army. "The future is yours."
