Complete knee-jerk, playing to the crowd nonsense, BS overkill!!! Everyone needs to take a deep breath, down a valium and let this uber-fart dissipate in the crowd before doing anything. This is nothing more than political grandstanding like yelling fire in a crowded room and trying to charge a fee for exiting the building.

No, NO and HELL NO!
I think that they all need to stay right where they are. If anything, they will be a reminder of what was...what happened...how it happened...what the end result was...and WHAT NOT to do in the future. Leaving these things in place will be good for our kids, and their kids and future generations to remember what events took place....all of the lives lost and over what and how to prevent it from ever happening again.

If you are talking about Alaska ?  And the Restoring of the name of  State of Alaska's biggest landmark to it original name Denali .   Alaska has only been trying to restore its landmark for the past 50 plus years  as long as Alaska has been a state .   Ohio can find a mountain in Ohio to name after it's past president .   Denali is the name given to it long before outsiders came to rename the mountain .  To Alaska natives and people like myself  growing up in Alaska it has always been referred to as the Great one  "Denali"  !
If you are from Texas or Any other State where do you get off by trying to think you have a say in what things are named in the Great State Of Alaska .

It was Denali before it became Mt. McKinley . It's in Alaska and Alaskans should be the ones to decide which name they want on that mountain !

I think it is rediculous that this is even an issue. This historical landmarks are exactly that, our History. To erase history is to forget what got us to this point in time. Forgetting history is a recipe for repeating it, making the same mistakes of the past.

I think you need to study history before making ridiculous remarks about history . McKinley Was known for the Spanish - American war and the financial collapse of 1893 . To place his name on A land mark should have been in his home state of Ohio or to one of the seized countries from the Spanish - American War .
A mistake in history now corrected .
