As Congress comes back into session, what do you feel is most important for them to tackle? The below link focuses on defense, but obviously there are a plethora of possibilities.

LCDR Nicholas Mulcahey, Congress's most pressing need is to start working together for the need of the nation.

CSM Charles Hayden hear hear!
Toeing party lines and expletives aimed at the goals of the other "factions" doesn't do our nation any good. Ironically democrats and republicans actually agree on most things, but they focus on the differences instead of working together to try to fix the issues.

Our budget and the national debt, which is currently paving the way for a future economic disaster.

LTC Yinon Weiss I completely agree! Not passing a budget again has a very big lasting effect that people don't see. Continuing resolutions seem to keep the budget "in check" until it's realized how much more needs to be spent to fix the inaccuracies when a budget is finally passed. Paying "later" usually costs more. Cost deference isn't cost savings.
