Being in my late 50s.....I really have no desire to seek any further education, however, I do have a question concerning college credit for my military service and from other schools I have attended during my 13 years of service. At Ft. Hood...we had Central Texas College, in Germany it was University of Maryland providing classes...in Alaska, it was University of Alaska at Anchorage. Does the University of Maryland University College have a means to pull all these things together and give the credit for all of the courses I have completed from different schools? For my service? You mention a link...but I do not see one. Also, if we do not physically have our transcripts, can UMUC help in chasing those down? I have two children who joined the Army as well and I would like to find out what is available to help them in this area.

No, no like that however, Excelsior College does. They do have a Credit Bank transcript called "OneTranscript" that will combine all the military and College credits in one single document. Here is the link http://www.excelsior.edu/onetranscript
I hope this helps in your situation.
