Putting you in control of your disability claim.

"Last month, VA reached a historic low in the disability claims backlog by dipping below 100,000 to 98,535 – and the number of these claims (pending more than 125 days) has come down even further since. This milestone means that VA is processing disability claims faster and more efficiently so that Veterans, their families, and Survivors get the benefits they deserve.

By participating in the Fully Developed Claims program, Veterans and Survivors can take charge of their claims by submitting all relevant records with their claims at once. The fastest way to receive a decision on your disability claim is by filing an FDC electronically through eBenefits.va.gov."

Visit VA’s website to learn more about filing an electronic Fully Developed Claim and what you can do to get started.

Need to find pvt doctors to eval my conditions out here in central florida. I wasn't denied at hearing but was given the oppty to submit pro opinions from pro MD's for possible award. 7 years wait. will pay out of pocket. Not easy finding doctors willing to do it.

I am not in control of my disability claim; but, I know my Lord and Savior is CPT (Join to see). Every day I submit my plans to Him and ask for His guidance.
This summer new symptoms for my spine and heart conditions were revealed by experience and testing. After contacting my primary care VA physician, she recommended that I contact a patient advocate about modifying/updating my disability rating evaluation which was conducted this past March. I was pleasantly surprised that the patient advocate let me know that because my VA doctors were in the VAMC where is based in he should be able to submit the update for me.
I have an appointment to meet with the patient advocate on October 20. I am hopeful that this appointment will help significantly.
