The Senate just voted (3x) this month to keep this deal going after the House tried to put a stop to it. As part of the Iran Nuclear deal and at the cost of $1,300 per tax-paying family, it's one of the biggest stimulus packages ever conceived.

UPDATE: The money that Iran is actually getting will be anywhere from $36-150 billion, and technically already belongs to Iran, but has been withheld due to international sanctions.

Regardless, I feel that the general public should still be outraged that this deal is still going through despite the fact that the Supreme Leader of Iran (no, NOT President Rouhani) continues to threaten both Israel and the US in his rhetoric.

Thought something sounded a bit fishy here.

I see. So it's actually only a minimum of $36 billion going to the #1 state sponsor of terrorism. Thank you for clarifying.

Let me first state that I am not a fan of the Iranian Nuclear deal and I'm a conservative.
But if truth be told, the mast majority of the 150 billion comes from Iranian oil sales and has been piling up in some international banks over the past few years. Not sure where the 1,300 per tax-paying family comes from.

It's fudging the numbers, to make them seem bigger. It "implies" it's US Tax dollars using a disingenuous form form of bulletized trickery to do so. It has the reader connect the dots in their own head. Then it says things like "US Family" instead of Taxpayer, or Citizen (320M), which slowly drives that number up to make it look like a figure big enough to be angry about.

That's a politically charged and intellectually dishonest way of saying "Iran gets access to Iranian money".
