Another great news story, with so many negative stories in the news concerning veterans it is good to see some positive and uplifting ones for our heroes. Salutes to them and their families.

Purple Heart recipient gets keys to free home in Va.

Dominic Perrotte, wife Kayla and their 2-year-old son walked through their new home for the first time Friday. The two-story house has three bedrooms, a fenced-in backyard for their two dogs and plenty of space for their son to play. The best part: It was free.

I just love these stories, CSM Michael Lynch. Not only do they make us all feel good, it's such a well deserved gift (reward?) to the veteran for his service. Thanks for sharing this.

This is why that home makeover show was such a hit. And often the recipients of the makeover on that show had a military connection. What a great concept. And how great it is that we have grateful companies and a grateful nation to come to the aid of these guys and gals who have served and sacrificed for our country.
