Thanks!<br> SSG Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 13 Jan 2014 19:44:16 -0500 2014-01-13T19:44:16-05:00 Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 13 at 2014 8:25 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/alc-at-ft-lee-91b?n=37553&urlhash=37553 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Small Group Leader for the 94 CMF ALC at Fort Lee here.  Let me give you the run-down:<br>You will be housed in Fort Lee lodging at the expense of the Army.  That is, unless lodging schedules your class to live off post.  You will then receive a voucher for a specific hotel (cost of the Army).  They will try to keep your class in the same off-post hotel.  We have no control over that and you won't know until you report.<br>You will require full per diem for sustenance as you will not receive a meal card.  I highly suggest having S4 get you a government travel card and use it for your stay.<br>Your course is approximately 18-22 students for 8 weeks.  You will have one to two weeks of Ordnance common core alongside with Blackboard distance learning followed by five to six weeks of tech side training for light, medium, heavy, and recovery.  There is a new week-long module on GCSS-A that takes the place of the field exervise and it's pretty awesome.<br>Let me know if you have any additional questions.<br><br> 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Mon, 13 Jan 2014 20:25:42 -0500 2014-01-13T20:25:42-05:00 Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 15 at 2014 7:40 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/alc-at-ft-lee-91b?n=38361&urlhash=38361 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>In regards to attaining DHG, etc. Inform your student chain of command where you're at, and if you need to see sick call in advance. This will give them time to inform the SGLs so you not being at PRT will not hurt your standings in the class. I had this happen thanks to my student CoC not sending the message up (saying they would). It hurt my chance to get DHG but I appealed it and at least got some recognition (not DHG mind you). Also, conduct the EPA 609 certification course on E-Ordnance U. This came into play when figuring in your end of course GPA so getting 100% on it will ensure your success so long as you keep your nose clean and get first-time goes on the tech-phase end of module exams.
