I took the challenge upon myself to serve this country. I wasn't forced at gun point or pressured to serve. If anything, I may have been ridiculed for even enlisting by some people at home. It was my decision to join and eventually mine to move up the ladder and get a commission. I've always been big on improvement and success to make it as far as Uncle Sam would allow me to go.
