For example, construction numbers have long been puffed with large-scale Chinese versions of The Bridge to Nowhere (google "empty chinese cities").<br /><br />In the meantime, problems with offshore quality control and timely delivery have led to a growing tendency to bring production back onshore, constrained primarily by a severe shortage of skilled production workers. If American leaned more towards Capitalism and away from Corporatism we might have a chance to catch back up and surpass China.
