I wondering what it’s like and what all I’ll do Ammo and Hazmat school? 2019-07-18T14:19:51-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 4825224 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My Platoon Sgt asked me if I wanted if I wanted to go to a hazmat and Ammo school, and I said yes. And the school was very important in raising your promotion points as it did for mine. And in hazmat school you are taught how to handle hazardous materials and substances and I thought that the school was fun. And like I said the school was very important for promotion points. Usually several people will fail. I believe the biggest reason is that they do not pay attention to detail. Also, make sure you do Ammo 67 and Ammo 68 on ALMS before you go. You need both to pick up ammo. I believe hazmat and Ammo Handler are great additional duties because they both provide concrete metrics for NCOER&#39;s and they show leadership potential.
