I have read so many different responses regarding BAH for guardsman in 11B OSUT. I heard Benning does not give BAH because anything over 20 weeks is considered a PDS/PCS. It would be patently unfair for NG soldiers not receiving BAH while their the AC counterparts get it.<br /><br />I really don't think OSUT is a PCS move. The army will not want to uproot a family for a 20 weeks of training.Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made Feb 13 at 2021 3:23 PM2021-02-13T15:23:26-05:002021-02-13T15:23:26-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6743968<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You are NG, so long as you have either a mortgage, lease or dependents you qualify for BAH. The BAH will be paid for the location of the residence. A 5960 and copy of lease must be on file (best to take a copy with you as well). If you do not get BAH while in training, there is a why to file after you return to your unit.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 13 at 2021 6:43 PM2021-02-13T18:43:07-05:002021-02-13T18:43:07-05:00PV2 Private RallyPoint Member6747698<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hey brother, I’m prior service army 11B and just came back in as an 11B again.
