Break in service is 5 years a 4 months at time of National Guard Enlistement.

My ETP for basic training was DENIED for the reason of being reviewed within 60 days of Basic training date despite being submitted 4 months prior.

I will have to attend 11B OSUT day 0. I have read so many different responses regarding BAH for guardsman in 11B OSUT. I heard Benning does not give BAH because anything over 20 weeks is considered a PDS/PCS. However I've also ready of guardsman being denied at Benning but being back paid at their unit.

Any information on this? Any BAH for 11B OSUT National Guardsmen? 2021-02-13T15:08:27-05:00 Cpl Private RallyPoint Member 6743924

Well I got kind of screwed. Former Marine. It would be patently unfair for NG soldiers not receiving BAH while their the AC counterparts get it.

I really don't think OSUT is a PCS move. The army will not want to uproot a family for a 20 weeks of training. The BAH will be paid for the location of the residence. A 5960 and copy of lease must be on file (best to take a copy with you as well). If you do not get BAH while in training, there is a why to file after you return to your unit. I was a day zero as well and I’m currently in basic...again. You will definitely get the respect you deserve.
