It is not legal in all jurisdictions, but it might be something to look in to. The biggest question, as far as I can see, is who will issue the marriage license - and is it an authority that the Army recognizes? If the Army doesn&#39;t view the marriage cert as legit, it is a waste of paper, at least for pay and benefits purposes. If you are married by an Army Chaplin via streaming video, you may be able to have the Army Chaplin complete the ceremony. Being in Mexico, they may need a pastor in Mexico as well for the Army Chaplin to certify. I can&#39;t say I saw this happen in my three 12 month combat tours, so get advice first.
