But I realized that 12R for E5 is balanced. So I was just wondering how that MOS is and would it be worth reclassing to even if its just for 3 years then ETS to become a civilian electrician. Anyone a 12R interior electrician? 2015-04-15T08:36:12-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 593189 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Im an E5 generator mechanic thinking about ETSing and becoming a residential electrician. When I was coming back into the military, MEPS had an opening for this particular MOS. Unfortunately, after several months of no class date, my SGM discovered that MEPS put me in an MOS that I didnt meet the pre-reqs for. You have to be a member in good standing of the electrical brotherhood (2-3 yrs membership) and an already established apprentice electrician.. Double check the pre-reqs first before yo sign that line.
