Anyone get a Recruiting Referral Bonus?

Anyone use the Referral Bonus Program between 2006-09 and get paid for it?

I never received a bonus, LTC Private RallyPoint Member, but I know people who did. And I know of other programs that offered bonuses (for those already in the Army, in this case) to volunteer for certain programs. These folks (in the article) took it to the next level and gamed the system like nobody's business. And it looks like they'll get away with it. Classic.

I never did and thats when i came in. I refered a couple people and didnt see a dime.

The first question I would ask is, where did they get the names of the recruits. I'm not personally aware of any program that lists the names of recruits in a public forum. I despise thieves and those that game a system for monetary gain of tax payer money deserve time in hard labor penitentiaries.

I'm confused. Did rent break any laws? Or are we just angry that they took advantage of a foiled system like senators and congressmen always do.

You know...I cant get over that guy with the bad barrack cut in the black t-shirt. I thought were weren't suppose to get that till AFTER you graduated basic.
