What happened?

I'm leaving in five weeks for airborne training and am working on improving my cardio-vascular health by boxing and running. Is five weeks enough time to get into shape so I don't fall out on the formation runs? How many did you do? What was the distance? Any tips are appreciated. Anyone gone to airborne recently, Fall of 2022 or sometime this year? 2022-09-08T19:56:30-04:00 CPL(P) Private RallyPoint Member 7867894

My question is what were the formation runs like? Can you do five miles at an 8:00min pace? It is NOT 5 miles in 40 minutes. Ranger Regiment/Ranger School require 5 miles in 40 minutes. Airborne school is not even close to RASP or Ranger School...I should know, I went to all three of them.
You'll do two 4 mile runs while you're at Airborne School around the mock-ups and 34-foot towers on a run path. If you fail the first, you have another chance to pass on the second.
Run 4 miles every week for the 5 weeks you have left to train. If you do them under 36 minutes...then you'll be okay.
If you're worried about the run...put your mind at ease by....runnnninnnggggg.
