Sure. That's just a conversation. It's not guaranteed it'll happen but you miss every shot you don't take.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Jan 21 at 2022 9:31 AM2022-01-21T09:31:58-05:002022-01-21T09:31:58-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member7488070<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Absolutely, speak to your first line first and they will relay to your 1SG. Be aware that you’re gonna need a reason more than just “I don’t like the person” or “ I want to be with my friend”Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 21 at 2022 9:50 AM2022-01-21T09:50:33-05:002022-01-21T09:50:33-05:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member7488103<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can. Ensure that you have a good, valid reason to request this switch.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 21 at 2022 10:13 AM2022-01-21T10:13:46-05:002022-01-21T10:13:46-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member7488716<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You can submit a request but make sure you have a valid reason or it will likely get denied. It also depends on how much room is in the barracks, etc.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 21 at 2022 4:35 PM2022-01-21T16:35:44-05:002022-01-21T16:35:44-05:00MSgt Private RallyPoint Member7488745<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><br />You have received some great advice from some of our best senior people on the site.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 21 at 2022 4:56 PM2022-01-21T16:56:40-05:002022-01-21T16:56:40-05:00SPC Kenneth Koerperich7516107<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Guess it's changed since I was in. You were assigned by squad & squad mate per room. No "requesting" shit. Either you got along, or you fucked each other up...THEN, you got UCMJ'd and moved. No other way. But I wasn't in during this "new" snowflake/I'm an emo era. You just did, sucked it up, or got the hell out....Vietnam Vets didn't/never gave slack. And most my Command staff were Vietnam Vets....Response by SPC Kenneth Koerperich made Feb 6 at 2022 10:36 PM2022-02-06T22:36:29-05:002022-02-06T22:36:29-05:002022-01-21T09:09:42-05:00
