Recently Ive been hearing that coming into the workplace requires you to be in uniform no matter the reason. Is there a regulation that supports this, or is this something that can be company mandated? It is likely a company, BN, BDE policy. If you mean &quot;off time&quot; by after duty hours, yes they could tell you to come in uniform to come back in. But who am I to ask, right? It’s all up to the command but for you are on an off duty status and you need to do quick run thru the orderly room I would not expect you to wear your Sunday’s best. This would make most people wait to turn in something that is really trivial such as a training cert until the next time they are on duty. There is no Army policy. There may be a local policy which wouldn’t make a lot of sense as a one size fits all. There could be that requirment if you are doing an official walk through, or making a barracks check on a Soldier being monitored. Outside of that it is doubtful.
