Are there hundreds of thousands of amped soldiers looking forward to another war in the middle east? I had been out of the Army for 11 years at the time. I could not sleep for days, finally, I called a recruiter and went back in.
It wasn't about going to war, it was about keeping the fight off American shores so no more innocent CIVILIANS had to die.
In the meantime, I had to learn German, Arabic, Pashtun, and Farsi.
You're welcome.
