Everyone has different bosses and regulations when it comes to footwear. Do not assume just because one unit is wearing them then it’s ok for you. <br /><br />Wear your regular combat boots that you do every day bring in the ones you have questions about, and show them to your chain of command. Let them see them first hand on how they look and let them decide before you wear them. Let them know they were a gift to you and you were not sure about company policy on the standards of footwear or combat boots so you wanted some clarification on if those meet their standards.
