I have been using it for several years now. Some of the functionality includes the ability to view and/or print all your medical records or just bits and pieces, for instances, most recent labs or xray results. There is the ability to have a direct "Secure Message" with any clinic or physician you wish. If whomever you wish to contact is not listed, simply send a message to tech support and the addition will be made. You can keep up to date with appointments, cancel appointments but still not able to make appointments. One great tool I really like is the ability to order Rx refills which is as simple as checking a box next to the Rx you need refilled. There is also a ton of information about just about anything medical you might need to learn about. It is also interactive with VABenefits website and some functions can be combined. I have found that MyHealtheVet has really sped up the service, at least here in the Sacramento/Roseville, CA area. If you are not yet signed up, get signed up now. You will be glad you did. I swear by it!

PS: I neglected to mention that most VA medical facilities have computers available at various location throughout the facility and you would be able to access MyHealtheVet and have a face to face if needed to make any corrections. I quickly found it helped me track his meds and treatments. Now that I use it as well (40% service connected) I see the service improving every year. When I have blood work done for periodic check-ups, I can see any abnormalities and be prepared to discuss them before my scheduled visit. Once I have a visit, I can check the treatment notes to make sure everything is taken care of. I know it's hard to believe, but occasionally your PCP might just forget to put you in for that consult he said he would.
:-) SSG Johnnie Vaughn Thu, 23 Feb 2017 20:27:39 -0500 2017-02-23T20:27:39-05:00 Response by SSgt Ron Dexter made Feb 26 at 2017 10:50 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/are-there-any-cool-unknown-features-to-myhealthevet?n=2374179&urlhash=2374179

I love the fact I can download my records in text or PDF format. It's under Blue Button in case you need to know where. Some records are slower than others getting uploaded into the system, but all in all, it is an awesome feature.
Secure Messaging is another great feature I use. Even though I work right in my VA facility and use them for all my medical needs, the secure message feature is still the way to go. The messages, responses, and tracking are all kept in your EMR for record keeping; additionally the providers have time limits on when they have to respond.
