Probably comes from having to wear lots of &quot;hats&quot;, and constantly having more &quot;stick&quot; than &quot;carrot&quot;. Most Soldiers I&#39;ve known (including my father and father-in-law) are experts in getting through the &quot;suck&quot;. Many of the most intelligent and successful people I&#39;ve known were Airmen. <br /><br />Marines? Well, I roomed with one at Annapolis, dated a female Marine officer once, and work with one now. Regardless of what anyone says about &#39;em...if I had to pick anyone to watch my back in a fight, it would be a United States Marine.
