It is a non-clinical unit (infantry unit with the medical plt as one of the support elements). It was honestly was one of my favorite units. You get the best of all worlds as a Soldier, NCO and medic since the expectations are high and many opportunities to grow and excel. You have to meet certain prereqs to apply for the unit.
