Are you able to go specialty schools in the Army Reserves at any rank?

Depends on the specialty. Some courses have rank requirements. What school(s) are you referring to?

I am a 12Y geospatial Engineer and would like to advance my career, and be all that I can be. In order to do so, I would like to go through Pathfinder, Airborne, Air Assault, and Ranger School.

If you want to attend Airborne, Ranger, Pathfinder, and Air Assault, I suggest you come onto Active Duty and head to the 82d or the 75th. None of those schools will really impact your job as a 12Y, so if you want to do them you may want to consider 11B or 12B

Generally, Reserve units are only given a few, if any slots for specialty schools. There needs to be a demonstrated need for sending a Soldier to those kind of schools, meaning a benefit for the general mission of that unit. The hooah tab schools, while they all can be said to offer the larger Army a Soldier with improved combat leadership skills, don't usually offer specific benefits for many reserve units.

Having said that, because infantry and other combat arms are the backbone of the National Guard, you may find more possibilities for going to specialty schools through that component. I would contact a NG recruiter

From what I am getting from this is that I should have reenlisted into the National Guard if I wanted to go to a school, and the best way to promote and advance my career is through education and correspondence courses.

I know before in the civil affairs units they would get airborne slots I’m not positive anymore on that.. Besides that drill sergeant school in the 98th or 95th once you become a Sgt you can transfer too. Outside of that really not a lot unless you win BWC or nco of the year or DS of the year then they will get you into pretty much any school..
