Half the ex MIL resumes I've seen scream "I can't write!" So if you're still in, grab a technical writing course or English 101; anything to improve the writing skill. Most likely the HR department will have a computer scan these first looking for key words, if doesn't find the words it is looking for, you get rejected. I knew a retired officer who put all kinds of stuff on his 20-page resume. He even had a comment that he played clarinet in his high school band. His logic was that it could potentially give a reader a way to connect with him. He said that only happened once (being asked about the clarinet) in all of his interviews. LTC Kevin B.
