Every day I submit my plans to Him and ask for His guidance.
This summer new symptoms for my spine and heart conditions were revealed by experience and testing. After contacting my primary care VA physician, she recommended that I contact a patient advocate about modifying/updating my disability rating evaluation which was conducted this past March. I was pleasantly surprised that the patient advocate let me know that because my VA doctors were in the VAMC where is based in he should be able to submit the update for me.
I have an appointment to meet with the patient advocate on October 20. I am hopeful that this appointment will help significantly. LTC Stephen F. It makes a huge improvement in things, with a caveat: As long as you don't have too many items to claim. If your claim includes 10 items, it will still take a very long time to adjudicate.

In any case, I urge veterans filing claims to go through DAV or one of the other VSOs rather than filing directly... They need to save money like all Depts. I filed over 5 years ago. Denied 8 disabilities. I thought they had my medical record, but I guess not because when I sent them copies, they re-opened all 8! I worked with back pain, ankle pain Carpal Tunnel. Worked to pay bills and did not see the doctors a lots, so I guess they thought I was okay. Now out of work for 4 months with all three pains. if you have pain, see your doctor. Go online to veteran forums and see what thousands say about the VA! They are slow as hell and can take over a year! PO1 Kenneth Cardwell Fri, 11 Mar 2016 16:47:54 -0500 2016-03-11T16:47:54-05:00 2015-09-26T12:20:22-04:00
