I'm asking because I'm 34, and I'm kind of concerned that HRC might not give me the age waiver. I still can score high on PT test though. I was the second oldest in my class. The only older guy was just like me - also an Army CW2, and also a former Marine! We had no problems getting the age waivers, no problems with the PT, or anything else. It was a good course. I went in 2008 during the surge in Iraq and the maximum age was 42, but if you had prior service, you could be older. You just had to be able to complete 20 years of service by 62 years of age. We had a SFC with 21 years of service in my OCS class. He just went through a divorce and wanted to increase his retirement pay since he lost half of it in the divorce. You're more likely to get the age waiver if the rest of your packet is good. The AFS is the real killer. Only thing you can do is put together the strongest packet possible with LORs supporting it and submit it. When my BDE submited my age wavier I include 3 PT card which reflected a 289, 294, and 298 APFT score. I think you’ll have a higher chance of getting your wavier approved if you submit multiple PT cards with a 280< APFT score.
