They fit and work fine for me. But I will certainly be using this for a reference. I don't know why this hasn't been put out better than what little has been spoken about it. Between my last unit and my current one, I haven't heard much of anything regarding these requirements. Besides the 'rough-side out' and the Rocky C4Ts being out of reg. I am so tired of going into a store wanting to get something that will work for me but worried that even after spending my money finding out that it is noncompliant. Case in point: I bought some of those Oakley gloves with the hard knuckles while I was deployed. The day after I found out it was shipped out (couldn't get a refund or stop it then), my LT told me it was no longer authorized. I was stuck with them. I just purchased a pair of Belleville TR350 Khyber II. The Belleville website and the store I got them from both claim they are compliant. As far as I can tell, they are, but I wish I could get a definitive answer somewhere. In theory they will not have anything that is out of regulations, but there is the rear .0001% chance they might. The Army should do more with private industry to get the best boots available, period.
