You will most likely be on a gains roster elsewhere on Bragg, but an airborne Soldier with initiative always caught my attention... It have some with rank call your branch manger. I can tell you that Group doesn’t get many Airborne school slots. They get the majority of their Soldiers already Airborne qualified. Is it impossible, no. I have see service members go from Group. However, if you didn’t get Airborne in your contract as part of you enlisting, it may be a greater challenge. I wish you luck. It’s a great place to be. Worst case scenario, go to your first assignment, then re-enlisted to go to jump school then to Group. You’ve got to be a great Soldier. I hope your up for the task. If you’re coming back in with no training you could pick a duty station. You’re not qualified for that location since you are not airborne qualified. If there is an opening for soldiers in your CMF, you'll probably be accepted. Of course, you'll have to complete Basic Airborne training as soon as possible and before being assigned to 7th Group. Get yourself in the best shape that you can in the meanwhile. Wishing you the best of luck. I know you can do it if you really want to. Stay safe.
