Keep them informed. Grow your soldiers professionally and personally. I have always stressed E-5s to know their soldiers and families because you are where the rubber meets the road. My units always gave comp time so we had plenty of volunteers. Love your soldiers and be a super great example to them. How you lead them might have a lifetime impact.
