However, I think with the current climate created from the current administration, I think we are looking at some changes that will be hard to repair or help for the current and future SMs of the military. When someone takes the oath to join the military, he or she is a "soldier", period. The hands-on, hardcore training methods that were used by Drill Sergeants in the past was designed to strengthen the strong and weed-out the weak.
