ASIST/Value of Life/Suicide Prevent PT? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/asist-value-of-life-suicide-prevent-pt

Looking for ideas for said topics, but, to be done in conjunction with PT. Was given the task, and some samples, but I personally believe the samples are NOT really "team building". Such as "Have a soldier answer a question about ACE card... if soldier gets it wrong, do 10 pushups"... really? Then we discuss the topic. It's supposed to based on ASIST/Suicide Prevention/Team Building... and I'm just fairly lost on how I could actually implement this, in a good way. Ideas? Maybe this is a topic discussed in the ASIST course? The speaker might talk about getting abused at the unit, how they felt inside, how they recovered, and the consequences of PTSD. Maybe a psychologist or therapist.

You can do skits too. Make them take a test about PTSD like how many veterans commit suicide each day. What are the symptoms. What is the fallout and consequences. How do they feel?

Test > Guest speaker > Discussion MAJ Ken Landgren Sun, 19 Apr 2015 13:25:08 -0400 2015-04-19T13:25:08-04:00 Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 19 at 2015 2:30 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/asist-value-of-life-suicide-prevent-pt?n=602315&urlhash=602315

While not a punishment... The training is supposed be done during PT, and incorporating the whole "value of life" team building "speeches". I just find it hard to actually do this, and actually be beneficial.
