It is RP members friend requesting you to build their network and as a result increase their influence score. I only accept people that I know or those who are in my career field. Everyone else who randomly tries to connect with me I just decline their request. Declining their request actually takes influence points away from the person. In the long run randomly trying to connect with people will likely do more harm than good to those individuals influence scores.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not sure -but I had a friend request.<br />And I did not know the person but I did look at his profile and decided it was okay...but when I was going to confirm -I had a pop-up that said that I was not the correct person that was allowed to accept the friend request.?
