Not at all. The law is a civil construct. Ethics are a different topic. However, it is hard to argue that doing something illegal is right.

Not necessarily. The specific context and application of the not-illegal action matters. I instantly thought of two examples where a legal action would not be considered morally "right."

LTC Private RallyPoint Member I think "rightness" and morality is subjective and dependent on experience, feelings, religion, and environment. Or in other words, what I consider right/morale may differ greatly from what you recognize as the same.

Legal/legality is a term that defines an actions allowance by law. There is zero subjectively to it; it is either allowed or not allowed. Beliefs/ethics do not come into play here.

So to answer your question, it depends on the individual, the action, and the location of the event.
