Best running apps for your phone?

I have been running for awhile using the Nike app for my phone and I have always hate running on a treadmill before, but not even more as the Nike app does not accurately match what the treadmill states. What apps do you use to run? Are they accurate for treadmills?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. I like the Samsung Health application. It has a pedometer that runs all the time, keeps track of calories burnt during the day, you can enter the calories that you take in, tracks heart rate and you can use it for exercise, running biking and so forth will give you a map of your route. It is a great app.

Runtastic Pro is a good one. The free one is cool. I really like that one. Right now, I'm using Couch-To-5K to get back to running again. It's been a huge asset.

Like PV2 Private RallyPoint Member said, Map My Run is pretty good. I've used it all around the world. My only issue with it is the developers have gone to a more commercial format. It seems to be less about tracking a workout than connecting to social media and sharing your results with the world. I might try some of the other apps mentioned above but I really don't want to lose my history. Oh well.

Always stuck with the basic watch with stopwatch functions. Are there newer ones ?
