This week’s Borne the Battle episode features guest Jeff Struecker, who discusses his life as a soldier, pastor, and author.

In 1987, Struecker enlisted in the army when he was 18. He excelled, serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment, and he played a pivotal role in the Battle of Mogadishu. He also won the 1996 Best Ranger Competition and was also recognized in 1998 as the U.S Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Noncommisioned Officer of the Year.

I spent about three hours in the middle of the night this past anniversary of Mogue with a Brother who just needed to talk. Billy is a great man, he was just having a time. But we all need to remember that many a great man needs a brother to be there whenever needed. It don't matter if it's during or after. "I got your six" is a forever thing.

I know I'm late to the party on this thread - just finding my way around the site. I called Jeff a while back when one of the TF Gothic Serpent rangers was having some PTSD issues - he jumped right in to help. Same with LTC McKnight - he will always pick up the phone. After all these years - still helping soldiers. RLTW

hes also a Chaplain last time I checked, but I guess that was towards the end of his career.
