CAC PIN Locked--Remote Reset?

My CAC PIN is mysteriously locked. Other than going to an ID Card issuing facility, how do I get the PIN unlocked?

There is no way that I know of to remotely unlock a CAC. I know that some S1's can reset the pin. Besides that the only other option is the ID Facility.

The only way to unblock a CAC is at an ID card office. :( To find the nearest one, look at the RAPIDS Site Locator at: http://www.dmdc.osd.mil/rsl

MAJ Private RallyPoint Member I have heard of it being done with a computer with two CAC readers and someone with a "good" CAC to reset the FUBAR CAC.

Sir,
As working in a S6 office there is a way that is easier, you get the S6 personal to be logged in and then they go into the cac creditenals and reset pin. I have done it once before to help out a soldier who needed it reset I hope this helps you Sir
