Can a SSG make one wear one type of boot if multiple types are authorized?

have questions about Ar670-1 or da pam 670-1 can a e6 make ever were one type of shoe or boot if there multiple types authorized??

When you say "multiple types," do you mean something such as Cold Weather vs. Hot Weather boots? Or are you referring to specific brands?

Good question. Not completely sure on the E6 part, but if the E6 got permission from the Commander it is possible. Commanders can make the regs even more strict, they just cant make them more relaxed. They can always add to, but never take away. Of course, there would be some kind of memorandum to go with it

Generally it is whatever the commander dictates. I have never seen a command that specified can or cannot wear boot type x for formations. They generally just say duty uniform x and specify any modifications ie sleeps up or down, no tops, desert pattern etc but as far as one specific type I do not think so.

For example if where authorized where low quarter's, black boots, and tan or coyote boots. Then ca the facility manager you can only where low quarter's. Ps I have not seen a memo.
