Can I show up to DCC reception in OCPs?

Can I show up to the AMEDD Direct Commission course (DCC ) reception in OCPs? I'm already in the reserves.

The OCP is an optional wear uniform until 30 SEP 19. It will be mandatory wear starting 1 OCT 19. Essentially, yes.

I’m at DCC now. Wear civilian clothes that are conservative casual dress. A polo and jeans would work, so long as the jeans aren’t torn or anything like that.

You’ll definitely want to pack your OCPs though. If you type in AMEDD DCC on Google, you’ll find the Fort Sill page for it. Look at the reporting instructions, welcome letter, and packing list.

I am not sure if you've already been through DCC, but the "Welcome Letter" on the AMEDD DCC website states in line 4 "you WILL report in conservative civilian attire".
