It's in AR 670-1. But either way, use common sense. Don't wear it to get special privileges. Wear the appropriate uniform to the appropriate event. Like your ASUs to a wedding it a funeral or other formal event. I wore mine on a cruise to the formal dinner. OCP, that would be a little harder to find the right place to wear it, but I'm not saying that it isn't there. Again, trying to get discounts or free stuff isn't the right answer, but if a local baseball team was doing a hometown heros celebration, that would be ok. Amplification; your uniform is the only clothing you are required to possess. The different uniforms you have are designed for different uses and specialized or organizational uniforms should not be worn unless you are in the specific situation they are designed to be used. On leave, you may prefer muftis as more comfortable or appropriate to the specific occasion. Occasionally, the uniform is discouraged because it invites confrontations, but as long as you are engaged in activities that do not adversely reflect upon the service, and the uniform is not a restricted use uniform, wear it with pride. You earned that right and no regulation for wear of the class A uniform as an active duty serviceman exists other than political activities or circumstances where you might reflect poorly on the service.
One other consideration. Civilian attire is normally less expensive than uniform items. You must maintain your uniform in serviceable condition, so if there is a chance you might damage or otherwise render your uniform unserviceable, you might want to opt for civilian clothing. If you are going on a civilian flight it is up to your discretion. Wear it with pride; however, don't use it to try and gain favor or exemption. You are still property of the US military and as such are subject to the UCMJ. I have my uniforms and I wear parts of them from time to time but with no name tag or rank. It lets people know who I am and what they are dealing with. If PCS'ing to Germany, probably not a good idea. My son's unit called him before he started leave and instructed him to wear CIVIES and to NOT shave for a week or two before his flight. They also told him NOT to wear any clothing (sports, patriotic, etc) that would ID him as an American soldier.
When I was in the Navy, we had to be in uniform to sigh-out on leave or PCS.
