Courses such as English (writing), Math (logic/statistic), Philosophy, Science, and other major classes that is required for your program will not be accredited. If so, as many as I've done they count for nothing but eval fluffing and exam studying. They count for reserve retirement points, but only if you're in the reserves. However, Marine Corps Institute (MCI) courses will count for lower elective college credits. Some of the Army correspondence courses also count towards college credits and some will even apply towards certification. Navy is WAAAAYYYYY behind the curve on this. If you learn the subject well, you can take a College Level Exam Program (CLEP) Test in almost all, in not all, accredited colleges in the US. CLEP tests count 100% towards fulfilling your college requirements.
