What are the time in service requirements for an honorably discharged veteran to receive VA medical benefits?

I believe it is still 180 days of active duty.

24 months of Active Duty that is not ADT, or completion of the full term of Active Duty you were called up to perform. The last applied mainly to Reserve and National Guard.
The exception is any injury or condition that you either got while on any active duty period, or was made worse by that duty.
