I would assume it would vary depending on what it's for and if you're non deployable I guarantee you it's a no. Your best bet would be to reach out the your 160th recruiter in your area.

I wasn't aware that you can come to 160th with any type of profile. But what type of profile are you referring to? Lower body, upper body, shaving, etc.

Why would you want to? There is nothing special about special operations. They have the same amount of slackers as any other unit. They just get more money to not wear patches while deployed. They kind of look silly and unprofessional. That's why one deployment with them was enough for me. Trust me, you're not missing anything.

As said, the answer is no. There are no exceptions. My brief stay there at the hold platoon for a couple of months before going to WOCS had me working the in-processing office. That being said, if you get hurt or have a temporary profile, they actually try to get you back up and ready (if you're willing) to safely get you off said profile. They won't bother cut you orders to get there on profile. The few that slipped through the cracks somehow were promptly put in "reassignment platoon".
