Convenience of the Government Discharge

Has anyone gotten out of the Army for a "convenience of the government" discharge to enlist in the National Guard? I feel like that should be an option.

This is an interesting post I just ran across on Facebook, via a friend in need. Any information for her.

If they don't need you on Active Duty but need you in the National Guard - you should follow your opportunities.
