Could my SRB have been the reason for non-select? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/could-my-srb-have-been-the-reason-for-non-select

I’ve been doing some thinking and beside the 237 APFT, could my current assignment be an issue. On my resume I listed what I am currently doing, but my SRB shows over strength because there is no MTOE position for me. My two cents is that being listed as over strength would not affect the outcome.

I would look more at ncoers, pt score, tis, assignments in general, da photo, etc. Now making sure your srb is squared away definitely matters, but I doubt stating over strength would be a determining factor.

Try again on the next change though man! But I'm told WO candidacy is very big on attention to detail. That being said, there could be issues that stand out. I'll tell you the two guys I helped get selected had big issues in their Resumes..I'd start with all of your personal write ups. The Army is incredibly simple and chances are you already know what they are looking for, don't over think this. Ask some warrants what their APFT was when they were accepted, 237 might be low or just fine. Does your marksmen level play a factor? I have no clue but I bet you know what you need to work on and remember you have NCO buddies that many things only takes a couple of them to test you. Look at your records speak with your 1SG or CSM ask for their opinion and fix what requires repair.
