MSG Curtis Lange 373875

How can a Colonel in the Army get in a position like the Commandant of DEOMI and not have much time in the position have complaints made about them for inappropriate touching?

This looks to me like a case of someone not doing their job in the past to take care of misconduct and passing the problem onto someone else. In my 25-plus years on active duty I saw this many time with Officers and Senior Non-commissioned Officers.

If the allegations are true (and a source I know is one of the complaintants), what should be done? Reduced and retired? Court martial and BCD? Pass him on to another assignment where it is likely to happen again? I know CID will do a full investigation and a General Officer will make the decision on type of punishment, but someone with this many years in service knows what are apprpriate and inappropriate touches and comments.

Head of DoD equal opportunity training suspended

An Army colonel who oversees training for the Defense Department's equal opportunity programs was suspended after allegations of "inappropriate

DEOMI Commandant Suspended for alleged inappropriate touching 2014-12-17T08:56:31-05:00 MSG Curtis Lange 373875

How can a Colonel in the Army get in a position like the Commandant of DEOMI and not have much time in the position have complaints made about them for inappropriate touching?

This looks to me like a case of someone not doing their job in the past to take care of misconduct and passing the problem onto someone else.
