As a Director of Human Resources, I have learned to think about networking in a far broader context; to include those important contacts to make for after you have been hired.

Does he have a TS clearance? Usually doors come open with a TS clearance.

DHS umbrella is huge to include NORTHCOM and 5th Army for military responses. The government conducted a Hurricane Katrina AAR and has made the military much more proactive in disaster preparedness and relief. They will need coordinators for internal and external agencies throughout the spectrum of Federal Agencies.
