I could not think of a better way to honor my brothers who didn't come home.

The text reads: I am my brothers keeper. The fallen are never forgotten.

One more session to wrap it up.

Wow. Seeing things like this just take all words away. I think this is a great way to honor our brothers in arms who made the ultimate sacrifice. I am thinking about getting the Soldier's Cross tattooed for this reason. Unfortunately too many good men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice. All I can say is, good on you. Continue to honor their memory however you see best fit.

I still have to get it filled in but it is the American Eagle with wings sprawled out with a scroll that says, "Land of the Free, Because of the Brave" all in from of the American flag.

I didn't want to put dog tags or names thinking of doing something I haven't seen yet. I seen great Soldiers wounded and killed during my deployment time in Afghanistan and for that I am forever honored and grateful for the sacrifice they and many others have made defending this great country we live in.

I lost ten men from my BN during my last deployment to Afghanistan. I can't begin to tell you how deeply this impacted my life. I have never fealt the need to get a tattoo before, but toward the end of that deployment I designed a full shoulder wrap tattoo that I wanted to get. Although I didn't follow through with it, the names of these men are forever etched into my soul. May God bless each of you who has lost a brother or sister in arms!

I have 2 memorial tattoos for fallen brothers. One from a brother in Iraq and the other on my tour to Afghanistan. I don't like wearing anything around my wrist so I got them tattooed on me instead of wearing a bracelet with there names on it. 4- 23 IN

I plan to get one on my back. The Soldier's Memorial (if that's the proper name, the boots, rifle, helmet, and tags) with "Fallen, Never Forgotten" underneath
