Many schools will apply them directly to that language. Or, if they do not offer that language, can apply it toward general language... which waives that requirement on your degree completion. Advanced college-level foreign language courses are nowhere near as difficult - and the program coordinator/advisor probably knows it. If you are confident in your abilities, it is probably an easy A. Just make sure your chosen school is not phasing out your language when you get there. I ended up having to drop the Russian minor after a year of advanced Russian and a Russian history class - only found out they were phasing the program out during first week of classes! CA Delete D. Each university is going to have its own standards, and there is very little telling those schools what the standards should be. What some schools will give credit for, others may give less or none. Your best bet is to have your ATRRS transcript updated and talk to the registrar when you are looking to apply. Many schools might not evaluate your military education and experience until you've successfully completed a certain number of hours. Shop around. You might also be able to find a university that will allow you to compile a portfolio to effectively test out of courses. When I went through undergrad at Kansas Wesleyan, I was able to present a portfolio of my writing and was granted full credit for three courses. You may be able to do the same with the language courses. SGT Joseph Gunderson Sun, 02 May 2021 17:03:59 -0400 2021-05-02T17:03:59-04:00 2017-03-06T20:37:36-05:00
