Do I have to report to my PCS Location or do I proceed there after TDY and report?

My orders at first read proceed to tdy location then to pcs Location I had them changed to read pcs Location then tdy because they would only move my family to pcs Location and not me even though I'm taking leave prior. Does this mean I have to report to my pcs Location or is that only saying I can proceed there then report after my tdy?

Be more specific. TDY enroute can be applied in many ways. What do your orders say for dates and locations?

I went TDY and left the family in housing and Came back and out processed cleared Government quarters and took leave and then reported to my pcs location and once I got housing I went to transportation and requested orders for my dependents move.

With any luck, between leave and permissive TDY you can get your family settled before going off to TDY. DO all that you can ahead of time to set up appointments and showings for housing. Your gaining unit should be able to help.
